The Station

The Station located at Medan Pelita (opposite Harbour View Hotel) Kuching Sarawak Malaysia

Breakfast, Lunch and dinner served here.

If you wanted to chill out with friends and wanted to hear live band performing while sipping on hot coffee, chocolate (or any other hot and cold drinks) I surely recommended this place.

The Waterfront Extension where it use to be a market now its a part of the Kuching waterfront. The launching of the Extension of the waterfront was done by Chief Minister of Sarawak on the 5th of Mac 2010

All the picture taken using Nokia N79, enhance further in Adobe Photoshop using level, curve and some unsharp mask involved.

Anyway, enjoy the picture.

Once..

Merdeka Palace and the cotton tree. The cotton were blooming last year (2008) and it was beautiful. Fine day it is and yeah, wish the cotton tree blooming again this year.

This picture was process in Adobe Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS3. It was captured using CANON 400d DSLR with 12-24 Tokina ATX pro Lense. (wide angle)

Fine day at the beach

hehe, feeling ala-ala CSI Miami lok.(recreating that CSI miami look)

Good day mate!,

Above picture, taken at Pasir Pandak Kuching which is located at santubong. I further enhance the picture using Lightroom and Photoshop CS3 to get that CSI Miami look. If you're watching CSI miami, you'll notice that the the picture quality of that show is somehow in orange, green and blue, which is amaze me. Anyway, you can download the preset for the lightroom 2 at http://www.presetsheaven.com/ and look for that CSI miami preset.

Shot this picture last year, 31st October 2008 which I didnt publish it on the flickr or trough my blog. Anyway, if you want to take this type of photo here is the EXIF data

Aperture:f/8.0
Focal Length:18 mm
Exposure:+0.50
ISO Speed:800
Exposure Bias:0 EV

its kinda dark, so i have to boost the ISO to 800 to get fast shutter speed as I shot this picture handheld. but Image Stabilizer is in action so I dont worry a bit. I overexpose the image +0.50 to get a clear reflection of the water.

Always remember, shoot in RAW format if you want to enhance your picture a bit especially the white balance, grain and sharpening or you want to do some extreme editing later on.

Nait teksi dari Mid Valley pa kotan malas gilak nak makei komuter kotan nunggu komuter lamak gilak.

aku : kamek urang kch koh

Dreba Teksi : kamek nenga, kakar swk tok mcm kakar pilipin. ada sorang urang numpang kamek dolok, urang swk, nya kakar x paham alu kamek, anak kamek madah nya kakar pilipin

aku : owh, kakar swk senang jak, sekda susah

Dreba : yala, kamek pun lom sampei swk juak...ney tauk klak2 mbak famili raon-raon.

Aku : yalah, dtg jak swk best bah( sambil2 ku pomot swk)

nasib nya tok jenis orang sik pikey pendek, mcm ada la urng, mdh urg swk tok msh diam tas pokok, mdh urng swk tok x bagus, memacam la cita ku pun dgr.apa-apa pun, dtg swk sitok mun tak urng nak nanga giney urng swk diam. tas pokok kah sik.

sigek juak,giney2 maju sigek tempat ya, aku maseh banga jadi urng swk, walaupun sik moden mcm banda2 yang moden lain sebab swk like no other bah.

pa papun, geng2 blogger swk sik kira siney tak urang, apdate apdate lah salu blog tak urang k. jangan diperam jadi tempuyak kak ya ujung2 alu jadi arkib.

bukan nak ngeso, banga, coma, jangan pikey pendek, sebab urang sarawak tok manusia juak bah, bukan alien dan juak, swk tok dalam Malaysia bukan sigek negara. so pikey dikpun la k.

Pasar Gambier aka Cheko (Gambier / Cheko Market) Final Hour

In the picture is Cheko in the final hour before being closed by the authority.Cheko / Gambier market which is situated next to Kuching waterfront is build since 1935.

All the Hawker are now relocated to the new market at Stutong (near the BDC). The purpose of relocation is to build the new waterfront extension and yeah, to beautify the city itself.
