Saturday

What i’ve done on saturday?

Jamie

Meet jamie, my sister favourite cat. The only cat survive after that bloody male cat came from nowhere ate all Jamie siblings.

Anyway, above is an example of available light photography. the secret to get that super radiant good looking picture is, use adobe lightroom and you have to shoot 2/3 under to get that properly expose and increase the brightness and contrast.

You can try it out on human/non human subject.

 

Miss Kiki

This should be a strobe project with Leika Gago Photography, but instead using wireless trigger, umbrella and softbox with flash, I’m using street light to lit up the subject. Same principal with Jamie photo above, shot 2/3 under and adjust it with Adobe lightroom and a minor tweak with the contrast and such, voila!

And off course to get that bokeh (blurry background) i’m using 50mm prime lense with aperture F1.8

Night @Kuching City

Satok Panorama (actually i have to boost to ISO 3200 to get faster shutter. some tweaking in adobe lightroom and Photoshop, voila!)

Satok malam ari lah, sik banyak motor lalu, ISO boost 3200, ator sikit-sikit lam Photoshop ngan Lightroom alu jadilah sigek gambar.

Merdeka Palace @nite from Sarawak Museaum (ISO 100, 30 Second exposure)

Gambar merdeka palace malam ari, dari bukit rah muzium sarawak ya bah.

Central Police Station (ISO 100, 30 second exposure)

Balai Polis central, ku kat depan opis resident ku ngambik gambar tok.

Satok Light Trail (ISO 100, 30 Second exposure) mind the smudge on the lamp as i didnt notice any smudge and I realize it after i put my camera in the bag.

Satok malam ari, ada kotor sikit rah lampo ya eh, rah lense ku kotor sebenarnya, sik ku prasan waktu ku ngambik gambar tok.

All picture was shot with CANON 40d with 18-55 IS kit lense with some cheap tripod.

Gambar diambik pakei CANON 40d dengan kit lense ajak, sapa madah kit lense sik cukup bagus sebab murah gilak, ku nampar kei kit lense..huhuhu. mun dibanding ngan lense L memang la jauh gilak beza, macam langit ngan bumi. so, sebagai jurugambar, ko kenaklah maksimumkan penggunaan alatan yang sedia ada walaupun ada limit.

Penipu

Ni nak bagitau korang ni,

kalau korang terima panggilan daripada Private number menyatakan dia dari Celcom, Digi, Maxis pastu cakap korang menang RM7000.00 sebab cabutan bertuah dan minta no, akaun anda,

JANGAN BAGI NO. AKAUN ANDA!!!

sebab diaorang tu mamat-mamat Indonesia yang cuba menipu. Baru je tadi aku terima panggilan daripada penipu-penipu ni.

Bayangkan, aku mula-mula dapat panggilan tadi, wah RM7000.00 sape nak bagikan, then tetiba aku terfikir, eh bile mase aku masuk contest?, pastu aku hari-hari bukak web Celcom memang takde contest lah.

Lagipun, pihak Celcom akan bagi cek kepada pemenang kalau betul-betul ada contest dan takkan nak mintak no. akaun pastu pindahkan.

Time si penipu tu bercakap, aku terus putuskan talian telefon,pastu die call balik, aku tak layan dah.Hahahah.

ok, diharap korang jangan terpedaya, jangan bagi no.akaun anda kepada orang yang tak dikenali.

Lunch @Adey House featuring Leeyas and Jun as Chef. The Food is tasty.

Suddenly i’ve got a phone call from Aiok asking me to help out covering Mega Sales Carnival 2009 at Plaza Astana as he is too busy with other commitment.

After done covering the function at Plaza Astana, went back to Adey House and we went out to princess beach.

Fort Margherita

Hari Ahad, aku bosan tak buat apa-apa maka aku telah berjalan-jalan di sekitar bandaraya Kuching. Oleh kerana hari amat baik, aku seorang telah mengambil keputusan untuk pergi ke Fort Margherita yang terletak bersebelahan dengan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak yang baharu itu.

Sesampainya aku di lokasi, aku bertembung dengan 4 orang pelancong dan terus menyapa mereka taktala mereka hendak keluar dari situ. Jadi, dipendekkan cerita, aku seorang sahaja la yang berada di kawasan Fort Margherita itu.

Kali Terakhir aku sampai di sini adalah pada tahun 1996 ketika aku berusia 15 tahun untuk membuat kajian sejarah dan ini adalah lawatan kedua aku ke sini. Jadi setelah selama 13 tahun, aku kembali semula ke laman Fort Margherita ini dimana yang dahulunya ada sebuah muzium iaitu Muzium Polis. Korang layan jelah gambar-gambar yang aku ambik ni. Terlalu banyak perbezaan antara dulu dan sekarang.

 

Translation :

Its sunday, I feel bored as had nothing to do, i decided to take a stroll with my car around Kuching City. Because it is a very good day, I decided to go to Fort Margherita which is situated next to the New Sarawak State Legislative Building.

As i’m entering the Fort area, i stumbled upon 4 tourist and greet them as their make their way out from the Fortress compound. So it was me alone and the camera over there.

Last time I was here is in year 1996 when I was 15 years old doing some school history research project. 13 years later, here i’m standing once again at its compound. Last time I was here, this Fortress is a museaum. A police museaum actually. Anyway,here some photo that i took today at Fort Margherita Kuching
