Sapa madah camera handphone sekpat ngambik gambar kacak. yah, memang boleh, pi kamera handphone kenak ada lense Zeiss bok kacak gambar. pasya 3.2 MP memang kompom kacak lah. Mun kamera handphone sekda zeiss lense pun boleh juak.

Gambar diatas ya diambik pakei kamera handphone N79, di tune pakei Adobe Lightroom secukup rasa.

Fiery destruction in Sarawak

KUCHING: A major fire swept through a row of double-storey colonial buildings and destroyed several shops in Gambier Street here on Tuesday night.

The blaze, which was believed to have started from a textile shop at about 9pm, razed at least four shophouses by about 11pm.

At 11.30pm, dozens of firemen in several engines, including a skylift, were still trying to contain the fire from spreading to many other shops housed on both sides in the same row.

There was rain at the time which helped contained the spread.

No casualties have been reported.

The gutted shops were Fabric Accessory House, one of the city’s most established and biggest textile companies, Chaw Chuen Supermarket, ICT Trading Sdn Bhd, which is a one-stop discount store, and Khin Siong Huat, a sundry shop.

The shophouses, which front the Sarawak River and are located near the Kuching Waterfront, was built about 60 years ago.

Opposite them was the former busy Gambier Market which was demolished several months ago for the proposed extension of the Kuching Waterfront project.

The fire, which could be spotted far away, attracted a big crowd and caused a major traffic congestion along roads leading to the city’s oldest commercial centre.

The loss to property is yet to be assessed.

Some shopowners in India Street were seen moving out the goods from their shops, fearing that the blaze could spread.

“brilliant and more lively in 3D”

James Cameron latest movie, avatar premiering in every cinema in the planet on the 17^th December 2009.

You can watch this film in 2 format, 3d or 2d where I totally recommended to you to watch this film in 3d as it will give you much better viewing pleasure.

Avatar told us a story about a paralyze ex marine Jack Sully (Sam Worthington) who accepted a job on a distance planet called Pandora to replace his dead brother, where’s Pandora is inhabited by the indigenous races called the Na’vi. In order to know the planet better and persuaded the Na’vi to relocate for the mining operation , scientist created a genetically engineered body of the Na’vi which is called the avatar where this avatar is controlled by the humans who can feel, what the avatar would feel. Starting for only job, Jack Sully later fall in love with the planet and Neytiri (the princess of the Na’vi) and he’s trapped between his obligation and what he love.

Watching this movie in 3d screen at MBO Cineplex The Spring Kuching, is the best 3d experience so far. It feels like I was on Pandora, The green, the mountain makes me want to watch it again on the 3d Screen. Even though the show started late as there were technical problem, it is the best movie so far for the year 2009.

The theme song for this movie is sung by Leona Lewis titled I see You. Its gonna be a major hit like Celine Dion my heart will go on as it was catchy and memorable.

I must say, 2009 wild horses is the best and Susan nailed it with her powerful vocal.

What i’ve done on saturday?

Jamie

Meet jamie, my sister favourite cat. The only cat survive after that bloody male cat came from nowhere ate all Jamie siblings.

Anyway, above is an example of available light photography. the secret to get that super radiant good looking picture is, use adobe lightroom and you have to shoot 2/3 under to get that properly expose and increase the brightness and contrast.

You can try it out on human/non human subject.

 

Miss Kiki

This should be a strobe project with Leika Gago Photography, but instead using wireless trigger, umbrella and softbox with flash, I’m using street light to lit up the subject. Same principal with Jamie photo above, shot 2/3 under and adjust it with Adobe lightroom and a minor tweak with the contrast and such, voila!

And off course to get that bokeh (blurry background) i’m using 50mm prime lense with aperture F1.8

“you may not be Toby, but you’re still my son”

That was Dr Tenma said when he finally accepted Astro as his son

Base on Osamu Tezuka Tetsuwan Atomu or Mighty Atom which is a successful TV series and manga for some times now,. Astro boy a robot boy who was created by Dr. Tenma with his son image (Toby Tenma) which he thought it can replace his lost son who died in military experiment. Programmed with Toby memories from Toby hair DNA and powered with the blue core that Dr. Elefun created, Dr Tenma thought the robot will be 100% behave like Toby but it has different personality and he reject him after he realize, it remind him his lost son.

Astro embark on a journey to find his place in the world and finally, he was accepted by all and also Dr. Tenma who realizes Astro is still his son.

I know, some of the big fan of the series and manga are quite disappointed with this Astro boy movie, Personally I think, the storyline is acceptable for a movie and, Astro/Toby do remind me of Jimmy Neutron character. Eventhough its not the same as Astro Boy series or manga storyline, it is still Astro boy who we knew.

Acceptance, rejection, friendship, loyalty, humanity and love is how I describe the movie in words, and it do make me emotionally attached same way as I watched Pinocchio and Steven Spielberg A.I .just dismiss that political thingy that also incorporated in the movie.

Image quality for Astro boy are stunning, color, movement are good, and I believe Imagi studio will be next Asia Pixar and its on its way there.

The voice actor are superb congrats to them, especially Freddie Highmore who provided the voice for Astro/Toby. It do suits the image of adolescent character he voice in but somehow I found in the movie he’s trying too hard to pronounce American English.

Hopefully there will be a sequel for this movie, and it is highly recommended for you to watch.

Satok malam ari lah, sik banyak motor lalu, ISO boost 3200, ator sikit-sikit lam Photoshop ngan Lightroom alu jadilah sigek gambar.

Satok Light Trail (ISO 100, 30 Second exposure) mind the smudge on the lamp as i didnt notice any smudge and I realize it after i put my camera in the bag.

Satok malam ari, ada kotor sikit rah lampo ya eh, rah lense ku kotor sebenarnya, sik ku prasan waktu ku ngambik gambar tok.

All picture was shot with CANON 40d with 18-55 IS kit lense with some cheap tripod.

Gambar diambik pakei CANON 40d dengan kit lense ajak, sapa madah kit lense sik cukup bagus sebab murah gilak, ku nampar kei kit lense..huhuhu. mun dibanding ngan lense L memang la jauh gilak beza, macam langit ngan bumi. so, sebagai jurugambar, ko kenaklah maksimumkan penggunaan alatan yang sedia ada walaupun ada limit.

sebab diaorang tu mamat-mamat Indonesia yang cuba menipu. Baru je tadi aku terima panggilan daripada penipu-penipu ni.

Bayangkan, aku mula-mula dapat panggilan tadi, wah RM7000.00 sape nak bagikan, then tetiba aku terfikir, eh bile mase aku masuk contest?, pastu aku hari-hari bukak web Celcom memang takde contest lah.

Lagipun, pihak Celcom akan bagi cek kepada pemenang kalau betul-betul ada contest dan takkan nak mintak no. akaun pastu pindahkan.

Time si penipu tu bercakap, aku terus putuskan talian telefon,pastu die call balik, aku tak layan dah.Hahahah.

ok, diharap korang jangan terpedaya, jangan bagi no.akaun anda kepada orang yang tak dikenali.

Suddenly i’ve got a phone call from Aiok asking me to help out covering Mega Sales Carnival 2009 at Plaza Astana as he is too busy with other commitment.

After done covering the function at Plaza Astana, went back to Adey House and we went out to princess beach.

Fort Margherita

Hari Ahad, aku bosan tak buat apa-apa maka aku telah berjalan-jalan di sekitar bandaraya Kuching. Oleh kerana hari amat baik, aku seorang telah mengambil keputusan untuk pergi ke Fort Margherita yang terletak bersebelahan dengan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak yang baharu itu.

Sesampainya aku di lokasi, aku bertembung dengan 4 orang pelancong dan terus menyapa mereka taktala mereka hendak keluar dari situ. Jadi, dipendekkan cerita, aku seorang sahaja la yang berada di kawasan Fort Margherita itu.

Kali Terakhir aku sampai di sini adalah pada tahun 1996 ketika aku berusia 15 tahun untuk membuat kajian sejarah dan ini adalah lawatan kedua aku ke sini. Jadi setelah selama 13 tahun, aku kembali semula ke laman Fort Margherita ini dimana yang dahulunya ada sebuah muzium iaitu Muzium Polis. Korang layan jelah gambar-gambar yang aku ambik ni. Terlalu banyak perbezaan antara dulu dan sekarang.

 

Translation :

Its sunday, I feel bored as had nothing to do, i decided to take a stroll with my car around Kuching City. Because it is a very good day, I decided to go to Fort Margherita which is situated next to the New Sarawak State Legislative Building.

As i’m entering the Fort area, i stumbled upon 4 tourist and greet them as their make their way out from the Fortress compound. So it was me alone and the camera over there.

Last time I was here is in year 1996 when I was 15 years old doing some school history research project. 13 years later, here i’m standing once again at its compound.
